“Even the best creative leaders feel pressure to hide their uncertainty. Outlined Hours exists to give them the freedom to think out loud, with someone they trust, before the expectations of the room rush in.”
- Ola Akintola
The unspoken truth of high performance
A producer’s call can reshape an entire day on set. A founder's pivot can redirect the future of a company. A public move from a well-known talent can ripple across their reputation for years to come…
When decisions carry that kind of weight, capital-C 'confidence' can quickly become an assumed part of your job description. The higher the stakes, the more others look to you for certainty, and the less room you have to show them anything else.
Where the thinking gets stuck
The creatives who carry the most responsibility are often the ones who see most clearly what could go wrong. They think carefully, then question themselves, turning the consequences over in their head before making the call.
But when others navigate by your certainty, your own hesitation becomes something you have to manage privately. The questions that deserve the most careful exploration are often the ones you have the least freedom to voice out loud.
How I work
I work with leaders and high performers through moments where the stakes are high and the path forward isn't immediately obvious. My approach blends strategic advisory with structured coaching conversations, creating space for clear thinking as well as honest reflection.
Depending on what you need, my role might be strategic, facilitative, or quietly advisory behind the scenes. In each case, the aim is the same: to help you clarify your choices, test your thinking, and move forward with genuine confidence rather than performed certainty.
Who I work with
The creative leaders, founders and talent I work with are already operating at a high level. They are leading projects, shaping creative work, managing public visibility, or carrying responsibilities that extend well beyond themselves. They have strong instincts and great taste.
But, what they are often missing is somewhere to work through their own ideas and doubts without performance or judgement, or the pressure to have all the answers before the conversation begins.
A little about me
I spent almost a decade as a strategy consultant, including at Monitor Deloitte, advising senior executives across media, entertainment and consumer sectors. I then spent five years as Chief Operating Officer of a Talent & Influencer Marketing agency, working closely alongside the founder-CEO through a period of significant growth and increasing public prominence.
I now work privately with a small number of clients, each advised closely and with complete discretion. If that sounds like the kind of support you have been looking for, I would love to have that conversation with you.
